Concept Validation

Testing Our Ideas

With our scenarios ready, we organized a meeting with a group of three women commuters (26, 28, and 31) to validate our concepts.

We found it valuable to conduct this as a group session, as the commuters were able to respond to each others' ideas, and we could immediately see if a particular idea was universally accepted or rejected.

Our Thoughts

We weren't surprised that they did not want to interact with others, as that was something that came up during the initial research. However, we wanted to push the idea to see if we could come up with something that would make them want to be more social.

We were surprised that the group rejected all concepts that related to fashion. Instead, they wanted a product that wasn't a showpiece or statement.

A new idea that surfaced was providing more information along that route. We had suggested bus schedules, but they asked for more about the environment and the places they passed through.
