Introduction

What Is It?

Plügg is a wearable digital music device for commuters. Specifically, it is a set of wireless headphones designed for female commuters. The headphones communicate with other devices and a ubiquitous system to deliver outside information. Controls for the headphones are a non-intrusive component of the commuter's bag.

Why Plügg?

Plügg aims to:

• decrease the number of devices the commuter must carry
• use a simple set of controls and be hands free
• increase one's ability to be productive during the commute
• provide music as a means of entertainment while delivering information from the outside world
• integrate into the commuter's existing clothing without being trendy but still stylish
• communicate to others that the wearer is listening to music and is unavailable
